I loved it. The place was fairly clean with a nice design and very helpful staff. The breakfast was warm out on the hot plates and all the food was good.

The location was marvellous, just a short walk away from Kilver Court. Moreover, it's next to surrounding areas, the centre of Shelton Mallet and a suitable pub.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were a bit rude.

Characterful and Historic Setting, Engaging Storytelling by Owner, Quaint and Unique Room Designs
Inconsistent service delivery needs attention!!! Uncomfortable seating arrangements in the bar area could use improvement!!! Temperature control issues in bathrooms definitely detracted from the experience!!! Overall value for money seemed questionable!!!

Just a suitable option for a getaway in Shepton Mallet with extraordinarily good value for money. The owner made us feel really welcome and shared stories about the history of the place while serving great food. Make sure to enjoy the peaceful courtyard in the evening.

Had an amazing weekend with friends! We visited Farrington Park Golf Club and RSPB Ham Wall, both were fantastic! The place is filled with character and antiques. The food was great and reasonably priced. We loved the relaxing courtyard, and the owner was friendly, even if a bit quirky. Highly recommend for a fun getaway!

The shower took a bit of finagling to get the temperature right, but it all added to the quirky charm of the place!
